NORTHERN IRELAND U21 4-0 SAN MARINO U21

NORTHERN Ireland U21s hit four goals without reply past San Marino in their final home European Championship qualifier tonight at the Coleraine Showgrounds.

Their only previous victory in the group came against San Marino and they were quickly off the mark with the opening goal as early as the fourth minute thanks to Andrew Little.

Shane Ferguson tested 'keeper Manzaroli again with 11 minutes gone but four minutes later Ryan McGivern, with a penalty, made it 2-0.

But they had to wait until five minutes from to time further increase their lead.

That goal again arrived from the spot, this time Little the man to take it, after visiting striker Achille Della Valle had collected his second booking inside seven minutes before William Grigg added number four in the closing moments.
