NEW PLAYERS WELCOME

Release Date: 25/08/2010

SEPTEMBER will mark the start of the new season for the Irish FA’s Cerebral Palsy squads.

This exciting programme is continuing to go from strength to strength and new players are being invited to become involved.

Northern Ireland Cerebral Palsy manager Alan Crooks is inviting interested players of all abilities to join the programme: “I would encourage anyone with Cerebral Palsy or a restriction in mobility caused by a brain injury or stroke to come along and give football a go on 5 September.

“It doesn’t matter if you have never played before or are an experienced performer we would like to give you the opportunity to get involved in an international football programme.  We have two squads, a junior/development squad and a senior squad, so there will be players of similar age and ability and I believe it is a challenging, rewarding and most importantly enjoyable experience.”
