OLIVER Norwood helped himself to a double as Northern Ireland U21s cruised to a comfortable UEFA European Championship victory over San Marino in Serravalle.
The 18-year-old opened the scoring on 24 minutes when he met a Lee Hodson cross to send a first time effort past 'keeper Federico Casadei.
Just prior to that Casadei did well to deny Billy McKay after he had been teed up by James Lawrie.
The pair teamed up again seven minutes before the break to double Northern Ireland's lead. On this occasion a McKay lob came back off the crossbar only to fall perfectly for Lawrie to tap into the net.
That was how it stayed until the 78th minute when Norwood doubled his tally for his fourth goal of the series.
