THE Executive Board of the Irish Football Association was charged with making a decision as to the outcome of the above match.

The Board met on the evening of Monday 1st March 2010 and agreed the following:

1. The result of the match at the time of abandonment stands; Newry City 2 Larne 1
2. The actions of both clubs on the occasion of the above match would now be considered by the Executive Board in accordance with Article 33 of the IFA Articles of Association.

Both clubs have been invited to forward their observations in writing to the IFA Executive Board.

As a consequence Loughgall will play Newry City in the Sixth Round of the JJB Sports Irish Cup on Saturday, 6 March 2010 at Lakeview Park, Loughgall, kick-off 3.00 pm.

The winners of this tie will play Coleraine on Saturday, 13 March 2010 at The Showgrounds, Coleraine, kick-off 3.00 pm.
