Centenary Shield
Northern Ireland v Wales
Monday 14 April, Kick Off 5.00pm
The Brandywell
Missing from the squad is Sean Ferry who is retained by Dungannon Swifts for their Setanta Cup clash with Drogheda United which is also on Monday night. "We will miss the skill and trickery of young Ferry" added Ramsey "but we wish him well in what is a very important game for Dungannon."
Injury has also ruled out Derry City centre back Seamus Sharkey. Ramsey said "It's a big blow to lose Seamus who has been outstanding at the heart of the defence in all our games. He is really disappointed to miss a home game, the first Centenary Shield international at the Brandywell".
Despite Sharkey's absence Derry City FC is well represented in the squad with 3 players - Martin Hamilton, David McDaid and Thomas Burke. Although he plays for Limavady United, Mark Nicell lives in the city and attends St. Columb's College and brings the local representation to four.
