Linfield are building something special, says striker

Linfield striker Andy Waterworth netted a hat-trick to seal a very memorable week for himself and his club.

Waterworth led Linfield to a 3-0 win against Coleraine in the Tennent's Irish Cup Final to lift the trophy in front of over 12,500 fans at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park.

But, it's not the only hat-trick he has scored in the last week. His three goals last weekend also sealed the Premiership title for Linfield.

When asked whether it had been the best week of his footballing career, Waterworth said: "Yeh it is. As a commentator once said you couldn't have dreamt it like this. It has worked out so well for me. I'm very flattered.

"I'm privileged to play for this club. We are building something special here, a team of young hungry players. I feel like Benjamin Button I feel better as I get older. Hopefully I can continue to play and win more trophies for this club.
