Liam Boyce scored a hat trick for Ross County as they beat Falkirk 7-0 to reach the quarter finals of the Scottish League cup.

Josh Magennis continued his form in front of goal from the weekend scoring both of the goals as Kilmarnock lost 2-3 against Hearts.

Kyle Lafferty came off the bench and was on for just ten minutes before he had scored the goal to put Norwich in the lead, he was also involved in the third goal for Norwich and it was his run that forced Sebastien Pocognoli to put the ball into his own net.

Steve Davis was also in action for Southampton as they beat MK Dons 6-0 with Davis setting up Shane Long for Southampton’s sixth and final goal of the game.

With Kyle Lafferty suspended for the qualifier against Greece it is good to see that our other strikers are bang on form and that competition in the squad is fierce for whoever wants the starting position.
