Club Ni 2003'S Heading To Qatar & Germany

The Irish FA’s Elite Performance Director Jim Magilton commented, “ It will be an amazing experience for our young players. It is vital for their development to broaden their horizons. I spent some time out in Qatar working and we are very grateful for the invite to what is some of the best facilities the players will ever see. We have another group going to Germany as well which will be a fantastic experience. The games programme is an essential part to the Club NI structure. Broadening the players horizons at such an early age, raising their awareness of being a professional both on and off the field. Ultimately these are early steps towards representing Northern Ireland at the u17 European Championships and beyond - with the pinnacle playing for the Senior International team at Windsor Park. ”

The games in Qatar will be against Aspire Academy, which is their equivalent to Club NI – an underage international player development programme, and also NEC Breda from Holland. The boys will be in Qatar from the 3-7th May 2015.

Another group of 2003’s will travel to Berlin Germany to take part in the SC Westend International Cup, an 8 a-side competition from 8-10th May 2015.
