Before you install the IFA Active Desktop:
Due to updates in the Windows operating system, active desktops are now incompatible with Windows Vista.

Recommended minimum hardware setup:
- Pentium II 350mhz or higher
- 128mb RAM or higher
- Windows 2000, XP - not compatible with Windows Vista
- Active Desktop enabled
- Download and install latest version of the Adobe Flash Player
- This software is not available for Mac
Recommended steps before installing:
- Uninstall any existing active desktop software and reboot
Troubleshooting:
- Reinstalling this software over an existing active desktop will generate an error, so uninstall any existing active desktop software and reboot your machine.
- If the News stories appear as HTML/Text please upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
- Certain Windows set-ups have been found to generate errors when this software is installed. For Microsoft support on active desktops, please see http://support.microsoft.com/
- To uninstall the IFA Active Desktop software, browse to the folder where you installed it (it will default to save to a folder within your Program Files) and use the “uninst” utility.
