HAVING A BALL IN LURGAN PARK

THE third of Craigavon’s Irish FA Nutty Krust Summer Soccer Schools took place at Lurgan Park.

Over 100 boys and girls took part in the coaching sessions, skills challenges and seven-a-side matches.  The week was organised by Craigavon’s Irish FA Grassroots Development Officer Keith Gibson.

Speaking about the week Keith said: “It is great to see so many youngsters from all over the borough coming along and enjoying the sessions we have put on this week.  We have had lots of fun as well as the players developing their football skills.  These Irish FA Nutty Krust Summer Soccer Schools are a super way for all children regardless of ability to improve their football skills and to make new friends.

“I would like to thank Park Manager Leeann McShane and her staff as they couldn't have been more helpful throughout the week. I also want to thank the coaching team of Irish FA coaches who brought their enthusiasm and expertise to ensure every player enjoyed their week.”

All children in attendance at the week received an Umbro Football Pack containing at a gym sack and a ball along with a Nutty Krust goodie bag.
