IFA / MCDONALD'S SUPER FESTIVAL DAY

13/05/2008

The Irish Football Association and McDonald’s are hosting their Super Football Festival Day, on Thursday 29th May 2008.

The Venue for the Super Festival is the Billy Neill Centre, Comber Road, Dundonald. The Super Festival will include a fun football tournament for 400 to 500 Primary school pupils.

Goalkeeping legend and McDonald’s Ambassador of Northern Ireland Football, Pat Jennings, will be the “Guest of Honour” at the Super Festival.

Together McDonald’s and the IFA have been developing Grassroots Football in Northern Ireland, since 2002 and have created over 350 coaches who are delivering qualified coaching to thousands of children.

McDonald’s community Partnership with the Irish FA is benefiting and developing football at Grassroots level, right across Northern Ireland and is also an excellent way to encourage children to play sport, be active and to lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Children representing primary schools from south and east Belfast will have fun negotiating the 6 inflatable football skill shelters and target zones.
