Futsal

THE Shankill Leisure Centre in Belfast is the venue of the new Futsal League which runs each Sunday.

This programme is part funded by Belfast City Council and the Irish FA’s Community Relations Department and the first day of the league was a great success.  The Futsal League is a development league which will enhance the girls both technically and tactically.

THE winners of the Under 11 and Under 13 Belfast City Council Futsal Leagues were decided after two exciting games of football.

Crusaders Newtownabbey Strikers secured the Under 11 title with a 5-3 win over Lisburn Ladies; while Ballynahinch Youth showed their strength by beating Crusaders Newtownabbey Strikers 4-3 to secure the Under 13 title.

 

The Futsal League is a development league which aims to enhance the girls both technically and tactically and is part funded by Belfast City Council’s Active Communities Programme and the Irish FA’s Community Relations Department.
