If you wish to get involved in Disability Football at local level please click here to download a word document with details of the various clubs. Some clubs may only cater for Learning Disability or are for registered clients of a Health Trust only so if you are having difficulty getting involved please contact Alan Crooks, The Development Manager for Disability Football at the IFA on 028 90 669559.

Football Leagues:

The IFA runs 2 Regional Disability Football Leagues. The leagues are 5-a-side and cater for all abilities as there are different ability bands in each Region.

The leagues are open to Disability Football Clubs, Adult Centres, Disability Organisations or Disability Groups that cater for learning and/or physical disability.

2011 Coca-Cola Community Cup:

THE Billy Neill Complex in Dundonald was the venue for the 2011 Coca-Cola Community Cup. Over 55 teams from across Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England and the Republic of Ireland took part in the two day event, which was a huge success.

In the 2011 event, Welsh side Llandudno lifted their sixth successive Ability Level 1 title after they defeated Londonderry’s Foyle Strikers in the final for the second time in as many years. In the Level 3 section, Belfast Special Olympics were the overall winners, with KARE from Galway winning the Level 4 section.
