Cerebral Palsy/Brain Injury/Stroke 

·          New Players Welcome!

·          When & Where: Sundays (every fortinight) at Hanwood Centre, Kinross Avenue, Dundonald, Belfast

·          Time: 7–11 year-olds 1.30pm – 2.30pm. Ages 12+ 1.30pm – 3.30pm 

·          Who can play: Ambulant males aged 7+ with cerebral palsy or a restriction in mobility caused by a brain injury or stroke

·          Coaches: IFA/UEFA A License Coaches 

·          Sessions: Everything from skill progression to playing for Northern Ireland in International Matches

Participation

The Northern Ireland CP squad programme is open to males aged 7 and over who have Cerebral Palsy or have limitations in mobility as a result of a brain injury or stroke. All players are able to walk unaided.

The squad currently meets on a Sunday on a fortnightly basis in Belfast.

Representation

CP Football is a 7-a-side game played outdoor on Grass. Northern Ireland play quarterly Development and Senior matches against the Republic of Ireland and annual Home Nations Championships against the other countries of the UK.
