ADDITIONAL SEATING FOR IRN-BRU LEAGUE CUP FINAL

The Irish FA is pleased to announce the addition of temporary seating at the IRN-BRU League Cup Final at Ballymena Showgrounds on 28 January.

Following a meeting with all stakeholders, and the help of Coleraine Chairman Colin McKendry and their Club sponsor, TBF Thompson, an extra 545 seats will now be installed to accommodate the additional ticket requirements of Coleraine supporters.

Craig Stanfield, IFA Head of Competitions Services, said: "We are delighted with the demand for tickets for the first IRN-BRU League Cup Final. Thanks to the cooperation of all the stakeholders the temporary seating option will now be realised. We look forward to a full house at Ballymena Showgrounds on Saturday, 28 January 2012 and hopefully an excellent advert for the local game"

Hugh Wade, Chairman of the Irish FA Premiership Committee said: “I am delighted that these temporary seats have been given the green light, and I must thank the PSNI, Ballymena Borough Council, and the Clubs for working together to make this happen. Special thanks go to TBF Thompson and Colin McKendry who have provided financial backing for the seating. Hundreds of Coleraine fans were disappointed at not getting a ticket but these additional seats allows over 500 more fans to be at the Ballymena Showgrounds for the Final.”
